Peter Cavalieri

Pete moved to the Valley in 2022 from Massachusetts, where he started at the age of 11, playing the baritone horn. He transitioned to trombone a few years later until turning to the bass trombone about 14 years ago.  Throughout these 56 years, Pete has been fortunate to play with some excellent school and community bands, orchestras, wind ensembles and jazz bands.  Especially fantastic experiences came in performing with the Boston Youth Symphony Wind Ensemble, Norwich University Regimental Band, Valley Airs Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps and the Fantasy Big Band. Currently, Pete not only performs with the Big Band Grandstand, but also the West Valley Wind Ensemble.  You might not know that Pete served 37 years as a Call-Paid Firefighter in Massachusetts.
