Becky Golchert
Becky’s passion for becoming a vocalist started at the age of 12 when she was selected to perform a solo for her junior high holiday concert. She continued to sing and at the age of 20, she joined The Grand Avenue Big Band in Westmont, Illinois and entertained audiences as a member of the Andrew Sisters style trio “Strictly Uptown” until 2019. Becky is also a welcomed returning member of the Frozen Robins holiday acapella quartet in Chicago, Illinois.
Becky relocated to Mesa, Arizona in 2020 and quickly got involved with The Kings Carolers, The Nash Jazz Vocal Ensemble and is a street cast member with The Arizona Renaissance Festival. She is also very proud to perform The Star-Spangled Banner across the valley. She joined the BBG in April 2024 and is very excited to be a member of this outstanding group of musicians. Her love for the Big Band era is evident when her beautiful soprano voice, with its bright and sparkling timbre, shines through every performance!
Originally from Wheeling, Illinois, Becky resides in Mesa, Arizona with her husband Phil. They are both retired and are enjoying life. They have 3 children and their 1st grandson is due in October.
